SME Management Workshop - "How does the Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance affect SMEs?"

The Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance 2012 (“PD(P)(A)O”) came into effect in two phases .  PD(P)(A)O represents a significant step forward in enhancing the protection of privacy rights in relation to personal data.  How would it be affecting the operation of a business? HKTDC SME Centre, Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs and the Office of Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data jointly organized this workshop to strengthen SME's awareness of the relevant provisions to reduce the risk of breaching the Ordinance.
