WHAT: The Belt and Road Summit is an international platform to promote business collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative, drawing together government officials and business leaders from countries and regions along and beyond the Belt and Road to exchange insights on multilateral cooperation and explore concrete business opportunities.

WHY: The summit connects project owners and investors with a conference, mini-exhibition, project pitching sessions, one-to-one business matching meetings and an online Social Lounge. The 2020 summit, which was held online, brought together more than 17,000 viewers from 80 countries and regions and over 80 prominent online speakers.
