SmartBiz Expo, Franchising Show

WHAT: The HKTDC Hong Kong International Franchising Show gives businesses the opportunity to check out brands and licences from around the world. The HKTDC SmartBiz Expo shows businesses how to grow by taking a wide range of new technologies on board. The two concurrent events are going online this year. They feature webinars on a range of topics, including creating a brand-new customer experience, keeping up with artificial intelligence and big data, the impact of COVID-19 on work, funding and support for digital upgrades, supply chain solutions and applying 5G solutions.

Wednesday, 2 December: 9am – 6pm
Thursday, 3 December: 9am – 6pm
Friday, 4 December: 9.30am – 6pm

WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council

WHY: Last year, the Franchising Show featured more than 100 franchised brands from 17 countries and regions and, together with the concurrent SmartBiz Expo, attracted more than 10,000 visitors from 53 countries and regions. This year, the two events will once again run alongside the Asian E-tailing Summit, the Business of IP Asia Forum and DesignInspire, which will also be held online.
