The services sector is a key growth driver, while improving transport infrastructure and ongoing pro‑business reforms continue to underpin the notable economic development of the country and offer a wealth of opportunities for businesses and investors. Regional integration draws continued investment in transport infrastructure in Kenya. The Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia Transport (LAPSSET) Corridor is a US$23 billion multi‑modal project which aims to provide better integration between Kenya, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
