T-box webinar on ‘Government Funding Scheme – ReTAAS’
Hong Kong retailers can follow their shoppers online as the COVID-19 outbreak shakes up consumer habits.

WHAT: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on shopping patterns in Hong Kong. To further support the retail industry, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government is enhancing its Retail Technology Adoption Adjustment Scheme (ReTAAS). In view of this, a representative from the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), which implements ReTAAS, will explain the latest enhancement measures. Ferren Mung, Manager of the ReTAAS Secretariat, under HKPC, will explain how to use the scheme.
WHEN: 12 October 2020 (Monday), 3pm to 4pm
WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The webinar is part of the HKTDC’s Transformation Sandbox (T-box) programme programme to boost Hong Kong SMEs.
WHY: Under the scheme, Hong Kong retail enterprises that are not listed on the stock exchange can apply for funding support amounting to 50% of the outlay in improving online operations, up to a ceiling of HK$50,000.
