Guangzhou Customs Promotes Online Administrative Approval

Guangzhou’s customs authority has introduced new measures to promote online government services for administrative counterparts in order to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic more effectively. These measures include:
- Administrative counterparts may apply for various types of customs administrative approval via the Customs online administrative approval platform (http://pre.chinaport.gov.cn/car) or the Internet-plus Customs integrated online platform (http://online.customs.gov.cn/).
- Administrative counterparts may use the Customs District’s Internet-plus Customs special government service platform (https://gz.online.customs.gov.cn) to process 15 service items, including simplified application for scientific research equipment sharing, and cargo manifest amendment and withdrawal.
- Administrative counterparts may use the chengshi fuwu (‘city service’) function of Customs’ WeChat platform to access and complete individuals’ applications for six government service items.
