Entrepreneurs’ workshop on branding in mainland
Hong Kong SMEs can use the BUD Fund to improve their position in the massive neighbouring market.

WHAT: With its rapid economic development, Mainland China represents a huge business opportunity for investors. During this workshop, guest speakers will share useful tips on brand development and marketing strategies in the Greater Bay Area, as well as insights into intellectual property protection and application procedures for the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD Fund) to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) successfully expand their mainland business.

WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council
WHY: Speakers include Rex Ma, President of the Asia Pacific Creativity Industries Association, who is also the Co-Founder of iGen6 which was established in 2010. He has built a huge and solid social network. Mr Ma earned his Master of Information Technology Management Degree from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), Australia. He has also been accredited as a Certified Social Marketing Associate, e-Marketing Association from the United States.
Dr Alex Lau, Partner, HK Intellectual Property Advisory Service Limited (IPAS), is also a partner of the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Advisory Services Limited (IPAS). He is professional mediator for the Civil and Commercial Mediation Center of Shenzhen and an accredited mediator of the HK Mediation Accreditation Association Limited.
Daphine Lam, BUD Manager, the BUD Fund, will offer advice on using the fund.
