Nansha Subsidises Young Hong Kong and Macao Job-Seekers and Entrepreneurs

The Nansha Area of Guangzhou recently announced a raft of subsidies and rewards for young job-seekers and entrepreneurs. The measures will be implemented on a trial basis until 18 October 2020 and are open to permanent residents of Hong Kong or Macao aged between 18 and 45 who meet the relevant conditions.
Hong Kong and Macao youth who move to the Nansha Area (Free Trade Zone) and have signed labour contracts with employers with a term of at least one year will receive a lump sum grant of RMB3,000 at the end of their probation. Each person may only apply for this grant once.
These measures apply to Hong Kong and Macao youth who go to the Nansha Area (Free Trade Zone) for innovation and entrepreneurship after 1 January 2018, incorporated Hong Kong and Macao youth entrepreneurship businesses, designated youth internship and employment bases and youth innovation and entrepreneurship bases.
