Argentina Initiates AD Investigation on Certain Aluminium Foil. Argentinean authorities have initiated an AD duty investigation on mainland Chinese aluminium foil, not backed, rolled but not further worked, of a thickness of at least 0.006 millimetres but no greater than 0.2 mm and a width no greater than 1,300 mm, other than smooth foil, with an aluminium content of at least 99.2 percent by weight and a thickness no greater than six micrometres, in reels of a width no greater than 500 mm, in accordance with standard ASTM B 373-95, classified under NCM 7607.11.90.
Colombia Terminates AD Probe of Citric Acid. Colombia has issued a final negative determination in its AD investigation of citric acid classified under HTSCO 2918.14.0000 from mainland China. As a result, this investigation has been terminated without the imposition of any measures.
Brazil Amends Terms of Price Agreement for Imported Citric Acid and Certain Citrate Salts. Brazil recently amended the terms of the price agreement for imports of mainland Chinese citric acid and certain citrate salts classified under NCM 2918.14.00 and 2918.15.00 from certain companies. Specifically, the new minimum CIF price under this price agreement has been set at US$1,127.24 per tonne effective 8 March.
Brazil Extends Deadline to Conclude AD Sunset Review on Garlic. Brazilian authorities recently extended for a period of up to two months, from 4 August, the deadline to issue final results in the on-going AD sunset review on mainland Chinese fresh or refrigerated garlic classified under NCM 0703.20.10 and 0703.20.90. The next steps in this proceeding are as follows: closure of evidential phase of investigation (5 June), deadline for data and information contained in the file (25 June), issuance of technical note with essential facts under analysis to be considered in the final determination (25 July), deadline for presentation of final submissions by interested parties and end of instruction phase (14 August), and issuance by DECOM of final determination (3 September).
