Manufacturing investment mission to Thailand

WHAT: The three-day, two-night mission to the manufacturing hub of Bangkok and neighbouring Chonburi province will include briefings by government officials, networking events with trade associations and visits to an industrial estate and factories. Industries on the visit itinerary are likely to include food processing, automotive and electronics.WHEN: The mission has been postponed from the original date. New date to be confirmed.WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong Productivity CouncilWHY: Smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Hong Kong manufacturers’ drive to move their plants into ASEAN countries are themes which have received extensive attention recently.
