Argentina Renews AD Duty Orders on Bearings and Coated Paper
Argentina has renewed for an additional five years its AD duty orders on (1) bearings classified under NCM 8482.10.10, and (2) certain coated paper classified under NCM 4810.13.89, 4810.13.90, 4810.19.89 and 4810.19.90 from mainland China. Imports of subject coated paper will continue to face an AD duty of 39.56 percent while imports of subject bearings will face AD duties ranging from US$6.45 to US$15.62 per kilogramme.
Brazil Begins Sunset Review on Steel Line Pipe
Brazil has initiated a sunset review of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese seamless carbon steel line pipe used for oil and gas pipelines classified under NCM 7304.19.00. Imports of subject merchandise currently face a dumping margin of US$778.99 or US$835.47 per tonne.
Brazil Finds Circumvention of AD Duty Order on Pens
Brazilian authorities recently issued a final determination in an anti-circumvention probe of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese ball-point pens classified under NCM 9608.10.00. Specifically, it has been determined that that import licences should not be issued to imports of subject pens claiming to be produced in India by Accuwrite Stationery Products.
