Mexico Preliminarily Finds Dumping on Plastic Balloons
Mexico’s Ministry of Economy recently established a preliminary duty of US$37.8 per kilogramme in its AD investigation of mainland Chinese metallised plastic balloons classified under HTSMX 9503.00.23 and 9505.90.99.
Colombia Establishes Provisional AD Duties on Cotton Woven Fabrics
Colombia has provisionally established a minimum FOB price of US$4.63 per ton in the on-going AD investigation of mainland Chinese cotton woven denim fabrics and certain other cotton woven fabrics classified under HTSCO 5209.42.0000, 5209.49.0000, 5211.42.0000 and 5211.49.0000. This measure will be in place for a period of six months from 27 November 2017.
Canada Begins Re-investigation of AD/CV Duty Orders on Rebar
The Canada Border Services Agency on 4 December initiated a re-investigation of the AD and CV duty orders on certain mainland Chinese concrete reinforcing bar classified under HTSCA 7213.10.0000, 7214.20.0000, 7215.90.0090 and 7227.90.0090. Exporters that wish to participate in this proceeding must provide a complete and accurate submission by 11 January. If an exporter fails to provide a complete and accurate submission AD/CV duties will be determined in accordance with the relevant ministerial specifications, which may result in higher duties than those currently in effect.
