HKTDC Appgazine Award
The HKTDC’s award-winning mobile app has received the latest kudos from the UAE.

WHAT: The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has received the Best m-Government Service Award 2015 from the Government of the United Arab Emirates for its Product Magazines App (Appgazine).
WHEN: 11 February 2015
WHO: UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, presented the award to Loretta Wan, HKTDC Director of Publications & E-Commerce.
WHY: Awarded in the Trade & Economy category for international entries, the app incorporates user-friendly functions and interactive features, including keyword search, bookmarking, notes, voice recording, and instant enquiry. It also allows suppliers to provide multimedia content and interact with buyers via this mobile promotional platform.
Launched by the UAE Government in 2014, the Best m-Government Service Award seeks to motivate government entities to provide innovative solutions in the field of smartphone applications, mobile web and SMS.
In January, the HKTDC won three Best Mobile Application Awards at the MobileWebAward 2014, organised by the Web Marketing Association of the United States.
