HKTDC Entrepreneur Day

WHAT: In its sixth edition, Entrepreneur Day helps new businesses and supports newly established companies with key business information, including banking and financial advice, legal services and IT support.
WHEN: 2-3 May 2014
WHO: Franchise operators, financial institutions, legal services providers and NGOs are some of the groups that will exhibit under the following categories: Start-up Opportunities, Start-up funding/Incubation and Supporting Services for Start-up Businesses . Last year, 126 companies and organisations exhibited their services and products at the event, which attracted more than 13,600 visitors.
WHY: A highlight this year is the Cross Matching Pavilion, which will offer a cross-industry matching platform for 80 local creative designers to reach out to potential business partners. Business owners can explore new markets, while designers expand their business exposure and commercialise their designs.
Startup opportunities were the focus of Hong Kong's leading event for entrepreneurs
The new Micro Enterprises will be among the support services available for start-ups. A pitching session will be open to young entrepreneurs to present their business plan to a public forum, which will provide feedback on their ideas.
