Webinar on “Maneuvering Your Business Through Challenging Times” (1)
Cantonese (No simultaneous interpretation service provided)
As part of the webinar series co-organised with the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC), this session provides small-and-medium businesses with updated intelligence on global market and export, as well as real cases and practical tips to handle order cancellation and shipment problems.
HKTDC economist shared that Mainland China is in the stage of recovery since COVID-19 is gradually under control. While the European market would remain stable, ASEAN will continue to be an emerging export market with new opportunities. However, disrupted logistics and inventory excess of buyers will continue to create uncertainty to the businesses of local exporters.
In view of the pressure on businesses in this already difficult environment, HKECIC has launched a new round of enhanced measures to support Hong Kong exporters, including free pre-shipment cover, 20% uplift in valid credit limit, extension of premium payment due date, premium discount, waiver of annual policy fee and expedition of claims settlement process. With these support measures, it is hoped that local exporters can overcome this difficult time and would be able to explore export trade markets with more confidence.
