China Business Workshop on Opportunities in the consumer market in the mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area (Webinar)

In order to help Hong Kong companies tap into the market of the nine cities in the Greater Bay Area of the Mainland China more effectively, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council conducted a consumer market survey of middle-class consumers of the nine cities in the fourth quarter of 2019. This workshop will share the survey results on consumers’ confidence, wealth management arrangements, preferences on consumer products and services, and online-to-offline (O2O) shopping preferences.
Mr. Poon Cheuk Hong
An Economist with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC’s) Greater China Research Team, Mr. Poon’s areas of expertise include Mainland China’s trade performance, economic development and consumer markets, as well as the economic relationship between Hong Kong and Mainland China. His research portfolio also extends across many of Hong Kong’s manufacturing and services sectors, including processed food, beverages, wine, cosmetics and toiletries, accountancy, management consultancy and the legal profession.
