New Measurement for Global Trade: Economist Dr Patrick Low

International trade needs a new measuring stick that better reflects global inter-dependence and technological content, according to Dr Patrick Low, Vice President of Research at the Fung Global Institute. The former Chief Economist with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) was interviewed by the HKTDC prior to his participation as keynote speaker at the 2013 Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference (ALMC) in Hong Kong on 7 November.
