BUD Fund boosts SMEs’ prospects

WHAT: The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD Fund) was enhanced on 9 April 2020. Enterprises – especially small and medium-sized enterprises – can flexibly use of the total funding of up to HK$4 million (US$516,000) to undertake projects in Mainland China or other economies that have signed free trade agreements with Hong Kong. In addition, enterprises participating in virtual exhibitions organised by government-related organisations including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council or reputable exhibition organisers with good track records are eligible for funding support under the BUD Fund.
