11 January 2018
The Administrative Measures for Cross Customs Areas Processing were repealed as of 8 December 2017, according to a recent announcement from the General Administration of Customs (GAC). The move has been seen as efforts made by Customs to streamline administration, delegate power, and improve services. The Measures were first promulgated on 22 September 1999 as part of GAC Decree No. 74, then amended in 2010 and 2014.
