Hong Kong films are in the spotlight at the Cannes Film Festival.

WHAT: The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will again organise the Hong Kong Pavilion at the upcoming Marché du Film, happening concurrently with the 70th edition of Festival de Cannes
A clutch of top Hong Kong movies, led by the recent blockbuster Shock Wave, are to be showcased at the Marché du Film, the world’s largest film market.
WHEN: 17-26 May 2017
WHO: This year, the Hong Kong Pavilion will include four Hong Kong exhibitors: All Rights Entertainment Ltd, China 3D Digital Distribution Company Ltd., Fortune Star Media Ltd and Young Live Entertainment (HK) Co, Ltd. Another nine Hong Kong companies will showcase their latest productions and seek business and partnership opportunities through their individual stands or offices at Marché du Film.
Besides the critically acclaimed Shock Wave, several other Hong Kong companies will screen their latest offerings, including 29+1, Mrs K, God of War, Taxi Stories and Last Laugh.
WHY: The Hong Kong Pavilion in Cannes is the ideal setting for Hong Kong industry players to pursue business leads with international counterparts generated at the March HKTDC Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART).
